Terms of Service

1. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old (or older where required by local law) to use unsaid.
• Accounts require a verified phone number and display name. Keep your Privy passkey and device secure.
• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your contact information accurate.

2. Waitlist & Communications

• Joining the waitlist requires a valid phone number and email address so we can confirm ownership and follow up on product availability.
• By submitting your contact information you consent to receiving operational texts and emails about unsaid. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to SMS or using the unsubscribe links provided in email.
• We may send occasional product or feature announcements while you are on the waitlist. Message and data rates may apply based on your carrier plan.

3. Said Value

unsaid uses non-transferable in-app points called said to represent message value. Said points have no cash value, are not currency, and cannot be traded, transferred, or redeemed for money.

4. Messaging Guidelines

• Do not send content that is harassing, hateful, threatening, exploitative, violent, or otherwise illegal.
• Respect privacy—share only what you have permission to share.
• We may remove content, restrict access, or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.

5. Reporting & Moderation

unsaid provides tools to block or report users directly from each message. We review reports on a best-effort basis and may take actions including content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent bans. Some content may be retained to comply with legal obligations or to enforce these Terms.

6. Account Changes & Deletion

You can request account deletion in-app. We aim to remove personal data within 24 hours, subject to legal or safety holds. Deleting your account will remove access to messages and said balance; we do not provide monetary refunds for unused value.

7. Service Availability

unsaid is provided “as is” without guarantees. Features may change or be discontinued at any time. We are not liable for lost value, data, or opportunities resulting from outages or scheduled maintenance.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA (subject to change after legal review). Any disputes will be resolved in the applicable courts located in California, unless otherwise required by law.

9. Updates

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or website. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
